Trick or Treat

Ugh. I think I'm getting a cold, and I know exactly who to blame it on - Miss. Savannah! I've been sneezing like crazy today and now my nose is starting to turn red - fun stuff, just in time for Christmas pictures tomorrow. Going to try and not make it worse until at least after the pictures, lol.

So it's Halloween - yay! Gotta love getting tons of free candy! Not that me or my children really need any candy, but it's still fun. Savannah dressed up as a pink Dinosaur (not what I wanted her to pick, was really pushing for the cupcake or Little Red Riding Hood, but that's what she wanted, so that's what she got) and Connor dressed up as Thor. Both kids had a lot of fun going around with Buddy & Ella and all the rest of the gang for about an hour or so then we loaded up and headed to Waunakee to see John & Carol and do a little more trick or treating. Although it was pretty cold outside, I think the kids were dressed warm enough cause neither of them complained about being cold (they had 3 layers underneath their costumes). Well now that Halloween is done, onto the next holiday - Thanksgiving!

Trick Or Treat

So this new schedule we are trying out with Savannah is going okay I guess............ Wednesday night she woke up 5 times, last night it was only 3, if we can get down to just 1 time a night I'll be happy, the downside I've noticed already is that she won't take her morning nap now...........which means I don't really get much accomplished during the day...........which means I'll need to start cleaning some at night when Scott is home so things get done........oh well I guess, if this makes us get more sleep at night I'll take it!

So Monday was obviously Halloween, which means CANDY! I rushed out of work 15 minutes early (4:45), so i could quick feed Savannah, eat dinner, and get out the door by around 5:30. Connor was Spider Man, Savannah was a bunny, Ella was an Elephant, Buddy was a Zebra, and Donovan was Robin. We had a good size group (The Moore's, Luther's, Evette/Autumn, and the Frank's) and went around the neighborhood for about an hour. Buddy didn't make it much longer than 15-20 minutes so he went back to Grandma's to hang out with her. Ella wanted to walk the entire time, Connor and Donovan had a blast running to the houses and Savannah was just looking around like we were all crazy. It was a lot of fun and after that we headed to Waunakee to see John & Carol for Halloween so they could see the kids in their costumes. Now is the time that I hate.......... I sit here and eat all the candy, and that 3 pounds I lost last month will probably come back.....lol, at least I have another 5 months to lose the weight before Florida!

Happy Halloween

So we're trying a new schedule with Savannah, instead of putting her to bed at 9:30ish, we're shooting for 8. Last night it was 7:45 when she fell asleep, and so far it doesn't seem to help. she woke up about 5 times before it was 7:30 (when I wake her up in the morning). Going to continue to try it at least a couple of more times before I consider it a failure.

So Monday was Halloween, I hope everyone had a good day! Scott had the day off of work, so he got to play with the kids all day (well after Connor was done with school), but I had to work like normal. This being Savannah's 1st Halloween, I had to make sure she looked super cute. I got an outfit after last Halloween, I think at Walmart on clearance. But I had to accessorize it to make it perfect. So I went online to My Little Legs and ordered her some leggings & a 5 pack of headbands. I think the outfit came together nicely and Miss. Savannah was as cute as ever!

Halloween Party

So Scott and I just spent the last 2 hours cleaning the house, and it's still gross. ugh.........we have less than a week now until my Pampered Chef party, so we need to get more done! But in the mean time we have to figure out what we want for dinner........hm..........

So yesterday we went to GG's and had a Halloween Party. We got to eat lots of food while hanging out with the family. The kids got to put on their costumes and look for pieces of a mummy & a witch outside, then they got a "prize" pack, then they got to make a cool pumpkin magnet. The kids had fun and it was fun to see all of their costumes. We had a bride, cowboy, elephant, bunny, bumble bee, zebra, Spider man, Robin, some pumpkins, and not exactly sure what Macy was suppose to be.........but it was fun!

Halloween At The Zoo

Scott is currently giving the kids a bath while I'm playing on the computer. I really should be working on cleaning Connor's room but I do not have any motivation to do it. We did get all the DVD's put away, so that's something at least! There is just always so much to do it's kind of depressing.........does it ever get easier? Will everything ever get done?

So this past Sunday we went to the trick or treating that the Henry Villas Zoo was hosting. The weather was great for it, unfortunately it was a HUGE disappointment. We waited in line for 20 minutes to get 2 tattoo's that Connor ended up losing because he was twisting his bucket around, and then 20 minutes later we came to another person with more tattoos. After that we waited a few more minutes and couldn't even see the next "station", so we left. It was overcrowded, which we expected, but there was definitely not enough stations. There is no reason why we should have had to wait over 20 minutes in between stations. It was ridiculous and it just got me frustrated and pissed off. Will NOT be going back there for Halloween again! That up side was the kids got to wear their costumes and it was fun seeing all the other costumes kids had on.

Halloween!

Again, I’m getting super behind in these!! I need to start doing them more often. It’s not that I’m too busy to do them, I just kind of forget to do them. Oh well I guess! In a couple of weeks I won’t have to worry about work for awhile, so I should have plenty of time to keep caught up on these!

So Halloween & Trick or Treating was fun! Connor had such a blast! He did so good going up to all the houses and saying Trick or Treat, it was so cute!! First we went around Scott’s parent’s neighborhood with the whole clan (Macy, Brodie, Donovan, Buddy). Donovan only went to about ½ of the houses before he bailed, but Buddy stuck it out with Connor! Connor wanted to keep getting “more candy” to fill up his bucket! After that we drove over to Waunakee to go see John & Carol, and we went and did some more trick or treating with John. Connor got way to much candy, and I definitely helped him eat it!
